Sunday roast

after finally waking up at home in bed and warm around 3pm i called omo and luke to find out whether they were up for dinner. They were both keen on happy chef in newtown. we booked it in for 6:30 but later changed it to a roast dinner at lukes house because he had happy chef the day before. I didn't mind so i headed over there anyway. So the three of us whipped up a roast pork dinner. to be honest i didn't do all that much and luke seemed to have most of it covered. While we waited the long hrs for it to cook we indulged in some camomile and crackers, coke for me and tea for the other boys. Great stuff, oh and we also started on big brother launch on ch10.

The pork was ok but i think we should have cooked it slower and longer but we were hungry. We put it back in after and the really crispy bit were great. We had roasted potatoes and pumkin and i insisted on getting gravy. Hmm soo good. Watched some more tv pretty much bagging out big brother and then went home.

btw: Got and eagle on golf on my phone. crazy little game im obsessed with while travelling these days. lol

great seeing ormo and luke and i love having dinner with people out in the city

Chinese Laundry

Slipp Inn or as anyone who drinks but doesn't drink call it chinese laundry. The top half is the pub where you can get in for free while the bottom levels are chinese laundry. Its 10 bucks before 10pm and the crowd is a relatively well off better dress druggy crowd. There is drinking and all the likes but you dont see much of it downstairs where more of the pingers end up. The main bar of chinese laundry played popie/rnb music but never really got going untill 3am when everyone got pushed downstairs into the glimm dungeons of the ravers. The ravers listened to more funky trancy music but i only heard a few really great songs all night making the whole thing pretty average.

I wasn't as blind as my compadres however and still managing some degree of assertiveness i suppose i didn't pick up on those enheightened senses things you get from going to those places on a pinger. I do admit though going out every weekend to those places kinda dullsthem down for you. When its once a month or a couple of times a year like while in wagga it was more of an adventure. Now that its a regular thing iim slowly getting over it all. Although i do seem to be trashed every weekend as anyone reading this would account for.

There was a large degree of beautiful women there i have to admit. There was a younger richer daddies girl kinda chicks running around but there was a decent amount of 20 something girls loitering around too. They were however all escorted by 2 or three guys and when in large groups of 10 or so girls they were accompanied by and even larger group of 15 or more guys.

The club when we first got there was extremely cold and even though through out the night i danced alot and the clubs dance floors got extremelly crowded to the point i had to sit down, i never really got warm.

We started early at around 9pm at lukes place in newtown and got in slipp before 10. I didn't eat and was well and truly screwed from the previous nights efforts at the hopetoun, but you only live once and i never get to see james or ormo and the night was made for a party.

We stayed at chinese laundry untill 3am and by the every one was over it. the night went really fast and the next thing we knew we were in the street trying to hail a cab and get warm. i think i heard the temp dropped to 6 degrees and we were walking around in tshirts. We could have stayed and kept partying but the squirrel had worn off and we were all pretty hungry and over the repetitious sounds of techno. Nice place but id probably rather a really good nght at candies.

We couldn't get a cab surprise surprise so we just walked to town hall which was an epic adventure at that point in time. We managed to get there 5 minutes before my bus came and 10 min before luke and ormos came. I got on mine and had a nap on the way home to ashfield. I later found out that ormo and luke got swamped by the crowd and just ended up getting a taxi. :(

i got off along liverpool rd giving me a cool block and a half bonus from the station. At first it wasnt that cold, then two minutes later i was rubbing my arms, a few moments after that and i have my arms inside my shirt shivering and rubbing and still i wasn't warm. I even thought of running by that just wasn't gunna happen. I ended up having to have a shower because i was that cold and didn't wasnt to get sick from it. Crazy sydney weather.

Fide friday @ the Hopetoun

Ive finished work for the week. it beena long but quiet week. Comparitively its probably beent he quietest week of work so far but some how the weekend didn't live up to its predecessor when it comes to quiet.

Fide, brentons band he joined more than 6 months ago who were previously know n as the wagga band scarifier. They were very pop back then and since brenton and maybe the city life has transformed them to a more poppy alternative rock group. They are too poppy for triple j and not alternative enough for fbi and not popular enough for nova. but they are good and will get up there eventually but they do have a long haul to trek.

They played at the hopetoun hotel on friday which apparently is a pretty hard gig to get. You have to be invited back as a headliner and can only get a gig there if a headliner act invited you. I was however surprised once i got to the hopetown to dicover that it is the dingies little pub ive been to in many a recent years. and ive been to many pubs in the wagga scene that are dingy as. It was howver a nice establishment once you were inside but it was a nightmare on rollerskates trying to get to the bar and back to the beer garden outside with a handfull of beers.

People in the city when theyre drunk are the rudest bastads of the lowest handfull of human lifeforms. People dont give a shit about anyone when theyre pissed and quite rudely push their way around and more often though the crowds.

The band was good and we all sat outside for beers and somehow forgot to see the other bands, oops. Got pissed on coopers with brenton and the boys, phil and greg who was down for the weekend. I met this guy there out the back who worked for animal logic. He seemed pretty cool and whe talked alot about he world and how china will eventually own the world and the book 1421 im reading at the moment. such a good read.

Before the band started we got indian just down the road at indian chilli, which might you add wasn't very chilli at all. Phils chicken tika masala wasn't all that hot and me and greg got ourselves some butterchicken. No where in sydney i have been to compares at all to the indian tandoori in wagga. They are still the best indian food ive tasted. Mind you i did work there.

So we stayed at hopetoun for a bit and once the bands had finished we walked off to some bar just down the road. Too drunk to remember but it was too packed so we went to a pub just down the road which was pretty good. It was quiet and we had a jukebox which had some cool songs on it along with the films clips. We stayed there till 2 am and well and trully pissed we cabbed it to the purple sneakers in glebe. We all got in even though we were pissed as and met that guy from animal logic again and the first thing he did was shout us all a black sambuka shot. oooh yeah. love this city some times.

Purple sneakers at first seemed like a little beer garden with a few people smashed dancing under a flood light. Then we went downstairs and the world was filled with drunken alternative people mashing out to alt/pop music. It was weird. being pissed as doesn't help much either. The band boys except for brenton and steve, greg, phillip and myself all trekked on to the 7/11 and got ourselves well and trully indulged in bad take away food. I got a sausage roll which from experience doesn't deliver as painful a blow as a meat pie does. brenton got two pies and the second one was vegie and cheese which i recall didn't agree with him soo well. Steve got himself a travellers pie which we all know is not the best of choices. Greg and phil both got shin ramyun noodles instead of the meat pie choice because i do remember me and brenton getting the last two.

As we were walking home steve and phil decided to raid the early morning newspaper stacks and dress themselves in the headline tabloid pages that they stick in those metal grates out front of their shops. They also nicked a paper or two. Phil somewhere at this point in time lost his noodles so he was down one. We walked a few blocks turned a few blocks more and out of no where this car approached and steve thought at that point in time that the best idea was to throw the conveniently placed newspaper in his right hand directly towards the moving car. The paper hits the car high onthe right passenger side and it explodes. Paper flies everywhere as the car disentegrates the sunday best. The driver slows down and as i watch eagerly a reaction i glimpse steve quiet as a mouse slip behind the corner wall of the house we were infront of only to slip away into the alley next to it. I look back and the car has slammed its breaks on as the impact reacts in his mind, hes starts reversing and the first thing i think of is "lets get the f*%k out of here" and so we bolt.

My mind races as i dream of the mario bros star invicibility song playing in my subconscience. Running and making my escape i look around and see steve graceing along in the lead fimrly safe from danger, brenton and greg equalling me in our flight to freedom and phil. where the f*&k is phil. "Oh crap i thought" and so me and greg stop. turn around and slowly walk back to where we were eagerly awaiting a troop of angry wogs ready to bash us because some drunk guy we knew threw a paper at a car as it went by. We get nearer and nearer to the corner we just nolted from, and then BAAHAM! phil walks around the corner smiling like a 8 year old school girl with a chupa chupp. Apparently the guy yells out and phil gives him a excuse along the lines of "hey wtf, man those guys were crazy and they just threw the paper at your car, then they just took off, i just met them and asked them for a smoke." ahh good shit phil, wouldda been better to just run, make life more interesting. haha, good one

crashed out at brentons place onthe fold out sofa. nice rest and nest to no sunlight coming through because we were on the second floor.

drunken with brenton and phillip

So i finally managed to get a hold of phillip and called him and organised to meet up with him for dinner. I hadn't seen him since that night i was out at bass bar in wagga and i was interested to find out what happened after i left. I also needed to speak to him about getting him to play some bass for me with sancha. I love getting two seperate elements of the world and guiding them to colaboration. It doesn't always work but its good to see how it all goes. Ill post more on that later i suspect.

But anyway bacl to my drunken antics. Im not even sure what night it was anymore but i had to have been tuesday or wednesday. im guessing tuesday. I met up with phillip and to my surprise brenton came too. That was pretty cool because i haven't seen him much lately either. We headed off to the haymarket food court and indulged into some lustuous happy chef sea noodle. a different chain to the newtown one i suspect. Different overall taste. I decided to not get the usual bbq pork and after mondays experimenting i think i was in a mood to try something new. So this time i got wontons and prawns. theyre both relatively expensive items for selection in soup. Bbq pork is alot cheaper in comparison so when you get bbq pork you get a fair amount and the first thing you notice when you get a wonton and prawns soup is the lack of quantity. Fair enough the food is a bit more luxurious but i once again did not get filled from my meal.

I also discovered that there was another aloe vera drink pretty much exactly the same as my usual one but in a different bottle and there is a little tang of a after taste when you drink it.

We headed to galaxy world and spent all our coins on this modern gun fighting game with these shields that pop up when you point hte gun away from the screen. Its pretty fun but costs too much dosh.

We then were going to head to the movies and see V for Vendetta but we had to wait for an hour and after 5 minutes of sitting around we decided to go play some pool. We got to the first place we came across which happened to be cheers. Pool usually costs 3 bucks and when we rocked up the guy came up and asked us if we wanted to be part of pool comp. 2 bucks each so we were up to start with. good deal so i signed us on.

A quick rundown of pool comp - skip if you dont care ;)
i won my first game from this pretty boy wog guy who could have been quite gay. Imagine ormo but instead of white with white hair tanned and black greasy hair with the tightest of jeans. He could have beat me but he screwed up and gave me a chance and so i won. Phil lost by one ball while brenton lost while on the black. I played my second game against some little asian guy who seemed pretty nice. We were actually pretty equal but i got to the black first and took my chance. I cut the black and bounce it across the middle sides four times to pot it in the middle pocket. Unfortunately the white slowly run down the side of the cushion after a bad bounce off the corner of the middle pocket to fall nicely into the far corner pocket. I lose by fault on black. Damn i was playing pretty well at that point. Oh well

They had a deal for the pool comp players that being jugs of beer for 7 bucks. Meaning 3 schooners between 3 people for 7 bucks. It was fate. We proceeded to spenda hell of a lot of cash on beer. The night went on and the next thing i knew was that we were at a kebab shop buying a nasty kebab and munching it down somewhere in the city. We decided and i somehow was swayed into getting a cab home. The boys both went to glebe and i had to go to ashfield and was convinced by brenton it would be 10 bucks max. Well after they both got out it was another 20 bucks on top of that. It was probably worth it once i actually got into bed somewhere around 2am. Sleeping at that point in time was so valuable to me considering i had to work in 8 hours.

some photos are up on datu puti. nicely taken on my new camera phone. You canbag them out as much as you want but they do a good job when your pissed and if you treat them in photoshop and only put them online they look fine.

Easter monday

Being as this was kylies last day in Aust for the next three weeks i had to spend the day with her naturally. I didn't get to bed till late so when i got a call from her at 12:30 i was well and truly still dead to the world. I got up anyway and got ready and ehaded to town. It was such a cold day and i was fluxuating warm and cold body temperatures. probably the kick arse side effects of downing a whole bottle of voddie over the weekend and not letting yourself recover. *slap*

Met up with k and the first thing was to get food. Went to some cafe on pitt street and i got bacon and eggs while k just got chips. oh and the coffee and all that whizz jazz. we ate then headed into the city shopping for some gifts for pepa, matty g and nics soon to be born child and some a few gifts for nicola. At one point we watched a female contorchionist street performer squeeze herself into a small plastic box. it was quite lengthy but was entertaining to say the least.

Then we decided to get a coffee and headed to the first cafe we spotted. Randomly we headed to this small cafe on pitt street. We got to the front and a small wave of recognition set in. It was the same cafe i bought kylie to on her 21st and the same one we ended up at a few weeks earlier. For some reason we always end up at this same cafe, this g spot place. its funny when you think about it.

So i saw kylie off and headed home for some well deserved recovering. I got home and the housemates weren't home from melbourne yet and it was me all alone by myself. Then Lloyd came over and we went and got thai from this place on the other side of the tracks in ashfield. I got a green curry while lloyd got beef noodles. We shared that with rice and aloe vera green tea. It was strange because i never get the green curry but it was extremely tame by all curry standards. tasted very nice but there wasn't enough meat or substance to fill me up enough. i was still hungry by the time i was done.

All in all a very nice day considering i felt like crap when i woke up.

easter sat night

Ok so its been a week and i really have been meaning to getting around to finishingoff last weeks easter posting but i keep getting behind since now i dont have the net at home i really can only do it at work or someone elses place. So back to the easter report.

I made my way to kates house and stopped off on the bottle-o for a bottle of voddie. Probably got out there around 9:30. Not stop day already and spend less than 10 minutes at home other than when i was getting ready. Got out to naremburn and everyone was already there, kate and thom of course and alex, and kylie of course as well as all the other girls from last week except for the other kate and belinda. As soon as i got there i got questioned on my connection with phil, and we had a little chat about his crush on belinda. very funny how small the world is. and how everyone seems to know that piece of information.

So i made myself comfortable and preceeded to indulge in the well deserved vodka that i had recently bought. The girls too we indulging in some more absoulute voddie which meant lots of drunken 20 somethings on easter saturday night. I wanted to go out and dance to some rnb at red room but the overwhelming majority weren't up for it considering last weekends antics. So i got the impression that no one was going out so i continued on my arduous task of convincing myself i can quite convincingly still walk after downing a whole bottle of voddie. Well i was wrong. i prob made it a good 85-90 percent of the way through. a decent effort but probably could have held back a bit. It wasn't until i was extremely pissed and well past entering the public night life that i found out kylie actually wanted to head out dancing and was quite upset that we didn't. Sorry babe ;( was probably a good thing that we didn't head out looking back but it still wouldda been good to go dancing before she left for america.

So my night ended seeing kylie off in a cab at 1:30 while struggling to stay standing and then heading back inside where kate suggests to me heavily "its time for bed chesh", and i repy with a defeated "ok then". and then was tucked away inside a sleeping bag and a blankie and was well on my way to sleepy sleep sleep world ;)

easter sunday

At a good early afternoon on this fine sunday the world to me burned with pain and sickness. ah blah i was just hung over as all shite. A bottle of voddie probably wasnt the best thing in the world to consume in under 4 hours. Thats just way too much and very well remindedme of the ole jubilee days. Wow what a comparison. that was a bottle and a half just in case anyone who wasn't there was wondering wtf im talking about.

So painful hung over sunday at kates house, im cold and im cant really move. I have this problem when i get really hung over that i cant seem to get to moving or doing anything at all especially when its in regards relocating back to home. Get pissed together recover together. Its a nice ideal which people dont like to do because it exposes their worst state of being. moving on.

Thom decided to have a bbq with his mates and to continue drinking on sunday morning. Ahh i remember the days of waking up without the pain of a hang over. Well they'll soon be over tommy boy. So we headed out to get some supplies for thoms bbq and his mates and i spent the better most time of this expedition trying to recover enough to head home. I got a call from kylie around this time and planned on dinner before she left and so i hung around to see what was going on. After the little expedition we headed back and i made kate watch the first 2 eps of rome. and then she made me watch a whole series of scrubs which is quite cool and i didn't mind while i recovered. The day got on and i started feeling really uncomfortable about being there out of welcome. But i couldn't travell and i was still waiting on K. Anyway i got a call and kylie had to plan something about the newyork intererarie so with no dinner i headed off.

I called up luke and ormz to see what they were up to in newtown and we all decided to go to happy chef for dinner. Was some good shit. I love eating at happy chef. I love getting into those huge bowls of asian soup with bbq pork and wontons and noodles. I also love going out and having dinner with mates. Its my new passion since coming to sydney. Food and friends. can you ask for anything more.

i eventually got home and crashed out hard. So tired. I do recall i got home and i watched a bollywood movie. but that very well couldda been last week. ?? all so confusing.

satur day and night

finally got up and got the boys moving. We had some shopping to do and since ormo left his 360 ticket in wagga he had to organise somehow to get a new ticket. we bused it into the city and hit up myers who had a 75% sale on a few of their racks. For 45 bucks i got 2 pairs of jeans and two shirts. so good. i also lay buyed a leather jacket. really really nice jacket but it costs 500 bucks, well ill have to deal with it in the next two months. Sould be good.

Then we went and got food and as we were checking out ticketek we passed a photo place and i stopped in and printed off a photo from my phone through bluetooth to the photolabs machine and i printed off 2 photos for 3 bucks. god i love modern technology when it works. 15 minuted later i had me and ormo a photo of us taken just moments earlier. soo good.

on the way back from the photolab and ticketek i ran into Alisa mcdonald a friend from high school. It seems that we always seem to be running into each other. Shes in canberra now and is up here staying with her brother for a family thing for the weekend. It was good to see her again.

After i finished in the city i headed home and got ready to head out to Kates house for some easter festivities.

a good friday

Ormanovich and Zamtura came up this weekend because it was ormos bday and them two and luke were heading out to 360. I would go but now my funds are limited i couldn't really spend 90 bucks on a ticket. i was also booked out already. a busy weekend already and only one day down.

I didn't wake up till 3pm and even then i was still tired. The boys drove over to my place and picked me up and then we headed into newtown for some dinner. Went to my favourite chinese resturant at happy chef. I got my usual bbq pork soup and then boys got a rather different selection, ormo with a rice noodle laksa, luke with a soy based stir fry with flat white noodles and zam got another random stir fry. The difference between my meal was that mine wasn't saturated with chilli, which the boys regretted later on ;)

Ended up going back to lukes and getting into a few beers and crashing out on his sofa.

farewell william and onto funktrust

It was wills last day at the LaB on thursday and we all celebrated by taking him out to everyones favourite peter pans.

But to start of ill go right back to the start of the week. It was the last few days before pay day and this extremely long month has finally come to an end. After being starved of finances for a few weeks my pay came in and i had serious catch up shopping to do. Both to feed the desire and also because there was alot of crap i had to buy, like a doona. Now i am warm at night. Yay!.

I did however go a bit overboard on the shopping though. I goto K's pressie which set me back a cool 600 bucks, but your not suppose to read that bit K ;P I also got myself a new phone on a plan which is cool, but i am actually amazed at how good this phone is. It has blue tooth and all the other cool stuff that new phones have but blue tooth makes it so much easier to transfer files from computer to phone that its actually worth using the camera to takes photos. I also got golf which is great to play when im on the train. ahh so happy with my choice.

So back to will. he was the tapes librarian at the LaB and hes been there for two and a half years but hes come to the decision that its no longer the place for him and hes moved on to Frame set match for a better position a better pay and a more interesting work environment. i think wills position was becoming stale for him and it was his time to move on. Good luck will and i hope ye the best.

After dinner i went back to work and since i started at 6am i had already finished when lunch started. So i got back to work and still had to go shopping so hough ill just ehad into the city that will be easier than waiting while everyone else finished work. The plan was for me to go to cabana bar in st leonards but that didn't happen. Once i got into the city and i bought k's phone got my phone and then the doona set (60 bucks) i had to go home because i was just carrying too much crap. I also got this really nice grey jumper too. love it atm.

I got home and then pretty much headed straight out. I saw the house mates for a minute or two and they were all about to head off to melbourne for some recording. Good luck down there housemates! Anyway i headed out to the city to meet up with matty g and joe and other random people from fishbowl. I thought will was coming but he didn't.

Made my way to hunter street bar for funktrust, the same bar we went to after kylies 21st but htis time it wasn't packed with heaps of asians. got there early then they kicked us out at 10 while they set up and so we all waited outside in a massive line. The wait was 45 minutes. I got in and soon after matty g and the boys showed up. I met this dude there from lane cove named phil and i was telling him about the crazy weekend i had last week and i mentioned bel and then he said "thats not bel from lane cove is it?" and i went "yeah" and realised the world was a little smaller than i thought it was when he had already heard from bel the story. crazy.

I was out at funktrust till around 6 in the morning and eventually fell asleep in the car when joe was driving me home. That dude is the coolest dude, and can dance better than me, which is good in one way because i need someone to dance for my next roto project, butu bad because seamlessly with out effort he makes me look like a bad dancer. Nicest guy though and competition is always fun.

so in the end passed out at home and the sunwas up.

Bedroom bangers, absolute vodka and the last supper

Once again another weekend of crazy adventures is over. Friday ended with a few hours of overtime and a relatively lazy night for me. Got home and all my housemates were gone, out to club blink apparently which from the little i have heard was quite an adventure too. I however stayed home got some dinner and crashed out early.

Saturday i got up early and did those annoying things adulthood makes us do.ie. Clean the kitchen and do my washing so i can have clean clothes for the week. Half way through the dishes i thought i should call ainslie and find out what was happening with fish bowl. It was 12:30. I had to be there by 1. So i was late. I rushes out of the house and forgot a heap of stuff and made my way to world square where i was to film "3d worlds bedroom bangers, dj competition"

It was at a elitist pub inthe middle of world square where a schooner of beer cost 5.50. come on. But there were some of the best unheard of up and coming dj's in the country that have never played in front of a live audience. The winner was a french vietnamese guy but it was kinda weird that he wasn't from aus. He was just here ona holiday and entered to try and get some gig's while hes in the country. lame.

so i carried around a camera and filmed for 5 hours. My arms were killing me by the end of it but its a good experience and the crew are pretty cool to hang out with.

After wards i got dropped off at Kates house and started drinking around 9. There were 8 girls there and for about an hour i was the only guy. Then simon came and some of thoms friends and some other guys miller was friends with rocked up too. So in the end it was a nice balance.

We heade out to the cross and to what a surprise candies apartment for some nghtclub action. Well im getting over candies and really wanted to head to redroom. But that didnt happen and so we were stuck at candies. At this point kylie and kate loose their memories and lets just say after and hour we were back at kates with the girls having a grand time while belinda and i were enjoying a well deserved cigarette and i dont even smoke.

So after getting every one safely back to kates i found an old old friend, vodka. Actually it was absolute vodka and im sure it was rasberry. Sorry Ellen i didn't know that it was your but if it means anything it was really really good. From here on in it gets really blurry, ie the tiredness kicked in and so did the vodka and so i have no idea what was going on anymore. Vague memories of thoms friend kissing me on the cheek just a little more passionatley than a mates peck, even considering that i had only met him a few hours earlier. Also worth a mention is the look on kylies face when i walk into kates room pissed as. Kylie holding a hair straighter and mee so pissed coercion was hardly needed for me to sit down while she straightened my hair.

After the young'ns and i call them that because they were 17 and reminded me of how much older i am than how i actually act, after they left im sure it was me and thom beign silly buggers and somehow we ended up running around without our shirts on. Hmm i relly need to get into that vodka more. Considering that the earlier middle section of the night was pretty bad the end of the night and the start of the night were pretty good so all in all it was a good night.

Sunday i felt like crap. I think i woke up at 11 or 12 and was still drunk. Some how injested rare images and sounds of pirated of the carribean and was generally cold. I finally didn't feel any better untill i woke up of kates couch around 5 o'clock when her parents and brother got home. Talk about being in a awkward situation. Shouldda left earlier when i had the chance but was way too tick to move. So headed into the city and met up with matty g and nick and then headed to the black stump charcoal resturant in kensington. It like a gabe family reunion. there was vic, shane and matt and matt and pete and all their respective partners. Well i was the only one there that didn't have a partner with me. Kinda black sheep, But it was weird because there was 13 people at the table. last supper like. hmm, i think im putting too much into this.

Anywasy got home and watched some bollywood movie on cricket. ahh, tired

The end of werk fun and avatar

ok so there are certain things in the world that people like to invest into, family, friends, business, lotto whatever. for me i invested alot of my energies into a few out sources. One major one of these is my PC. Put my thoughts and ideas and artworks into it. For the longest of time i wanted a computer but could never afford one until 3rd year of uni and even then i had to work pretty hard to get it. Time has seeemd to moved quickly over the years and the enevitable has come. My computer has finally died.

Its been a long time coming and she has been sick over the last few months. It first started with a extremem slow down in photoshop, and once you use that preogram as much as i do you realise when its not working corretly. Everything after that started slowing down, things not copying over at a reasonable speed and programs constantly crashing.

Eventually it got so bad that i would start up windows and i would be in the desktop but as soon as i opened a folder or ran a program the whole thing would crash. Then i would ctrl+alt+del to try and restart explorer again and the whole thing would just stop. Then i tried to reinstall windows but my cd is plagued with cyclic redundancy, legit v of course ;P and now the whole hard drive is getting flashing red lights end of world fatal errors on start up back up everything now kinda lingo.

Now i am sad.

I need to back up all the crap (120gig approx) from my harddrives before they fatally crash and i lose 3 - 5 years of hard work and emotional output. Im sure i have quite a lot of it backed up but you never know with portable storage these days.

I also have lots of gabe work, and aaapirates work to do as well as trying to get a head start on my redman blueman clip. Its never ending virtual pain. Oh well, at least when i get around to getting a new pc in a month or two ill have a sweet ass system to do all my shit on. quiet weekend chesh style

ok so ive been avoiding you for a while now, sorry blog. but there was one weekend that was so bad that it wasn't to be mentioned here. so without further delay ill continue past that weekend and move onto the last one just gone by. I just have to make one comment that i looked great all suited up and received plenty of compliments both on my aattire and dance moves. Ahh they were the good bits.

Friday
Now last weekend just gone was the week digi pics was literally taken over by the lab and its all official now. So we call ourselves the lab and to celebrate this monumentus event we had drinks and nibblies and cheese. it was all quite a social gathering and after a few beers i headed into the city to grab a bits to eat with with K. My plans were to have a few beers at work then go home buy a 6 pack on the way down a beer on the walk home, drop off the other 4 beers, pick up some cash, have another for the trek back to the station and then meet up with K in town for some dinner. That didnt happen at all.

Drinks at work went for longer than i thought and so i didn't end up getting into the city till 8:20, so it wasn't worth the trek home so i just headed off to the nearest pub to have a beer. Met an irish couple, ones a corporate banker and the other was a teacher. Nice people and had a good chat while i waited for K to finish work. Since i never got home i had next to no cash at all like literally 15 bucks. Finally met up with K and ended up going to the g-spot cafe again and just got fries and wedges. All in all the night was pretty quiet but i still managed to get home at 12:30.

Stef and tim were over to celebrate loyd getting his scaffolding certificate and they were haveing drinks too. I passed out on the couch mumbling something to myself.

Saturday
Sat was the shoreshocked festival. I got out there around two and had to be a camera man for fish bowl. I lost my house-mates as i couldn't afford to wait around since they went and got lunch at a cafe, while i got a burger. So anyway i left and headed to north sydney myself and walked around looking for fishbowl people for a bit. Since i couldn't find anyone i just enjoyed the festival. I probably liked the hip hop tent the monst and was surprised to see auntie nennette there and her son adrian who got up and battled in the 30 sec rap battles. Unfortunately got his butt kicked by an older and better rapper. I think it was his first time and kudos to you adrian for getting up and having a go. I know i wouldn't be doing it. And from what i remember you weren't that bad at rapping just not loud and clear enough with your delivery. Just dont give up because some dude beat youthe first time. Choice ;P

So met up withfish bowl people and filmed the festival. Was pretty cool for my first shoreshocked and first fish bowl production. had a good time and headed out for beers afterwards at the crowies. Then after that headed out to world bar in the cross (which is next door to candies) with joe and jamal. We were meant to head there at 12 and leave by 1 but didn't get there till 1:30 and didn't leave till 4:30. Hmm yes, quiet weekend indeed.

Sunday
Woke up and planned to stay home and do tedious things like washing but i got easily coerced into going to bondi markets and grabbing some lunch with the house mates. Then after checking out the markets headed to glebe for a long postponed dinner with bec. She cooked me a white sauced mushroom pasta and had some chardonney which i mixed foolishly with some aloe vera grape drink. weird yet wonderful. Got drunk and had a big d and m. love those talks. very nice pleasant evening. But still didn't get home till around 12.

So for a very quiet weekend i managed to head out every night and get home past 12. i wonder how my weekends are going to turn out when i plan on having a big one. Well we will see im sure. good to be back.
