Post Dj Shadow Week

Monday 24th july i headed out to newtown and had happy chef with luke and simon. and of course hit up gelato afterwards. hehehe

Tuesday i tried to get my car sorted out but had trouble with arcadia motors sayign steering was off and brake lights didn't work. hmmm. worked when i checked em. oh well. have to check it out. annoying day as i was working and had to keep leaving back and forth from one car place to the next. still haven't got it up and runnign fully. taking soo long.

Then later that night i headed out for dinner in crowsnest with john. As it happened jazz and lukek called and asked me to come out for dinner in crowies with them, so i joined the two together and the four of us hit up sushi train on willoughby rd. While waiting for luke and jazz to get there i went to the crowie for a beer with john and chucked my change in a pokie (mermiad oyster one) and pulled ou t140 bucks. tahts shit never happens. usually just swallows up my 10 or so bucks and be done with it. Good change of luck i spose.

Smaller fishbowl meeting on thursday for a quiet end of the week before a huge friday with ormz came along.

My God this was the best show I have ever seen.

Me and matty lemon went, he bought my ticket which was 80 bucks but so well worth it. Met up with phil pat and ash too who i already knew were going.

The first band was moss def, hip hop rapper with tunes beats and a bt of electro fused with old soul and rnb songs like aretha franklin. great vocals.



Then the man himself came on Dj Shadow. He played a few tracks and then brought out a pommy guy who sang two songs but they didn't fit in well, rocky techno - gay. Then they brought out Truthspeaker or and him and shadow were awesome. Then he played organ donar. Fuck i love that song right now (Along with all this love "rainbow stylin) by simolou). Then he went off and came back for a encore.







We went to the bar after and i got a video rather than a photo of the word master. Crazy small world.
