Gabriel paintball

Finally the day ive been waiting for. Paintball.

Its been over a year since ive been to paintball last time being on my bday near penrith. This time it was out at rout hill, near windsor i think. Action paintball. There were two teams significantly called the Arcs V The Fallen in line with the two opposing forces of good and evil that are in the film. Obviously the arc actors were onteh arcs and the fallen actors on the fallen with more crew being on the fallen side. Shane led the fallen while matty todd led the arcs. I of course was on the fallen.

Since there was already a rivallry going from halo death matches the competition was high and we were all eager to shoot out fellow crew mates. Shane had a few hunting for him since the hell he put us throughout the shoot, all in good fun of course. ;P I was eager to go against some one who has more experience than i did and to improove myself and learn a few tricks.

We started off pretty equal with falen smashing the arcs in the opening few games. Unfortunately as the day progress the arcs slowly go the upper hand on the fallen. Yowie surrendering the fallen general and two guards before anyone was shot was a key moment of the day. Also my dash for the flag on gallipoli was a big one for me too.

The arc boys

Across the day i spent over 1100 rounds of ammunition while i know andy spent more than 1500 that crazy cat. Shane and matty todd were playing very well and in the end the arcs won by two games. 11 - 9. A most memorable moment was the fallen victory over the arcs in the civil war game where teams line up and take it in turns to shoot at each other one shot each with headshots for kills. In the end arcs were two against 9 with the two remaining arcs shamelessly taking 4 or 5 shots and still gaining no kills.

The fallen boys

The day all in all was fantastic. Shane managed to smash me in the neck on the speed ball course while i was taking on xander and pinhead. Squirming on the ground in pain has never been so much fun. I was so tired by the time i got home and pretty much was crashing out in the car. After sitting in a aircon room all year in a cushy chair and not really pushign myself physically the days events over 8 hours of high adrenaline running and shooting really took it out of me. The next day i slept all day and couldn't really walk propery and for the entire next week i walk half limping everywhere. Pain and discomfort is always appreciated when its well deserved.

cant wait to get back into the killing fields again.

Welt on neck
