Thurdays extravagance
So expecting another big weekend due to a planend trip to wagga i had taken friday the 3rd and monday the 6th off work. So when i got a call from K on wednesday asking me to come out on thursday it meant a big thursday night out and one to look forward to.
So after work i met up with K whos been off in Europe experienceignthe freezign cold of winter while ive been here enjoying a luxuriously entertaining summer of drunken debauchery. Well ive had a pretty good time and its been warm. Anyways, we had tea and then because i had no where to go while waiting for her to cook dinenr and look after her little bro's homework i tagged along and went out to her place. Bit weird but i was heaps tired and kept falling asleep on the couch while her dad and bro watched tv. Talk about uncomfortable, but theyre pretty nice.
After eating got picked up by kate and her younger cousin B, and then went to kates house. While the girls got ready i sat and had more tea and watched an ep of lost with kates parents. Very nce too but even more uncomfortable. Strange night. Then we headed to cabana bar in st leo's.
So the last time kate and K were here they went ot cabana bar and it was pretty awesome for a thursday night. That was three months ago and these days it doesn't draw that much of a crowd. There are still a few peoplet here but its not the happening place to be anymore. Sowe went there and it was pretty quiet. The girls snuck ina bottle of water filled with vodka but it took them the nerve to sneak it into their drink untill an hour and a half in.
So it was good and i drank beer and some voddie while the girls drank voddie and champers i think. It got to the point where i remember K drinking the voddie she just made up and her saying it was really strong then i stupidly picked it up and downed the rest of it remembering that it wasn't that strong at all. Maybe it was thinking back a little too strong and i shouldn't have had that much.I was still good when kate and B left , claiming jet lag for a early escape.
So me and K continued drinking and decided to head over to North sydney and check out greenwood. I dont even know how we got there but i assume it was a cab. Couldn't get in at first for some stupid reason but we stuck around and after 5 min the guy let us in. I think we heade to teh back had one drink and danced a bit and then i got kicked out for being too pissed. I wasn't that drunk because of two reasons. I could walk fine and i could still talk and converse with clear thoughs. Oh well one more trophy for chesh's wall of drunken random crap. Went to Manhatan ? for a bit after but it was dead and closing.
In the end we shared a cab because it should have been cheaper but cost K 30 bucks to her place and then another 35 to my place in ashfield. ..ouch.I think i fell asleep in the cab too. thanks K
