15/15 in week of craze
Sat saw me wake early and riding on 3 hours i made thetrek out to digi pics for 15/15. A big day for me as a lead animator. Got to work around 8 and started straight away on photoshop stuff. Throughout the day i was moving all around the place rushing from photoshop to doing a voice to animating to helping other people do crazy stuff too.
I pretty much spent alot of the day infront of the G5 in the fun room doing after effects animating. In the end it got to 11pm and i was buggered leaving us with large fragments of a 12 min animation. Unfortuantely a few minor issues across all the board led to us falling short of making the cut. What we did do looked pretty good and once we finish it it will look fine as so will see how it goes.
Pins and luke who also were apart of 15/15 were heading out to candies afterwards which was crazy as so on the way home i thought id see how i felt and then id make up my mind. I got to town hall and i checked the next train and it was a 45 min wait so i decided to head out for a bit with the boys. We got to candies and i didn't wanna pay to get in but luke got us all in for free which was cool so i stayed out for a dance and a drink.
Ended up staying till 6 am then headed out to some central station 24hr place and after 5 min headed home. Had to get a train to strathfield due to no inner west trains *hate cityrail* and then a bus from strath to ash. Didn't get home to 8 and it started lightly rain and get cold so once i finally got home at 8am i was delighted as a kid on christmas morning. Bed had never looked so good.
Ended up sleeping till 8 at night and now back at work for a monday morning. Also budgeted my cash wrong and now in about a week ill be up shite creek without a paddle. Oh well, you only live once. It'll teach me to not over spend. Luckily i bought a quarterly train tik so now i dont have to worry about travelling and i get free food at work so it will be a interesting month of no cash.
me thinks there will be many more weeks of craze to come. At current count ive been out every weekend for the year. I think my first weekend home is coming up
