end of jobseeker diary
On my way to handing in lovely and enigmatically designed jobseeker form i realised that today was in fact he day i had to also hand in my beloved job seeker diary. Now for some god kown reason i thought it was due in two more weeks, and lazy arse me had gotten himself behind and now i have to search for and apply for 22 new jobs by tommorrow. Ahh this will be fun. Thats just to start.
Im hopefully going to wagga tommorrow or the next with Adam Freeman who i heavent seen in a while and it be good to cathc up again on a trip back home. He lives not far from me in Leichart. Other than the trip back home my last weekends endeavours might soon be paying off. John, Pinhead, Teneille an di all headed out north sydney way so the union hotel and pissed it up with the Fleeting Crew of Digital Pictures. I did however make a contact that might be getting me work on an up and coming project called "gabrielle'. Some thing like constantine with angels and demons so might be interesting.
The sat after that i went to nimmos bday on tthe roof of his place. Met up with a few people and the whoel thing was quite university party like. Had a good time but inevitably it died down and we all went home.
Been continuing my tests and finally got maya working. I have been distracted thought because i bought a few books, One is Robin Hobb, my fave writer with yet another 1st trilogy book. Called the soldiers sons, very good so far but i dont really likethe modern entities slowly emerging from her stories. This seems more cowboy and western rather than fantasy. Personally im not a fan of technology taking over the world and destroying the magic of the world, rather that small mentions of technology appear with small trinkets and things more regarded as tricks than hard core science. Just my opinion. The other book im reading is art of war by sun tzu written 2000 years ago about war tactics. Its been givento nearly every japanese business men and the ideals teransfered to business sense rather literal battle ideals. Great little read that will make you think twice about how to approach things.
